We All Grow Here
We All Grow Here is a three-site installation on the fences of McMurchy Community Garden, Kiwanis Youth Centre for Sports Excellence and the Creditview Community Garden. This is part of the City of Brampton’s My Neighbourhood Art Project, a series of site-specific, temporary art installations created in collaboration with the local community.
Artwork was co-created with community gardeners, the Boys and Girls Club, and the Cobra Swim Club members who printed leaves and blooms from their gardens or the surrounding neighbourhood. Prints were then collaged with illustrations inspired by stories of growth —a great harvest, a new experience or lessons learned in connection to these sites.
